Talkshow with MM Lee

Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, for those who dont know him...

I have just finished watching the talkshow on Channel 8 between MM LKY and some people from all walks of life, such as people from the Straits Time, some undergraduates etc. I cant believe my 5 senses that i have learnt from young which is supposed to connect me with the external world.

I can hear the rudeness of the young people (although i am young myself) when they interrupt the MM when he is expalining and answering their questions halfway! At the very least i know how to hold myself well in front of people of status? thats basic respect for me.

I can even smell (no need to see also can) the dissatisfaction of the young peoplein the studio when MM LKY managed to answer their dumb and pricking questions with confidence and make them think ok-you-got-me-stuck-here-=P

I can hear the young people asking dumb questions like: 'many people think that the PAP is arrogant and maybe a bully. what do you think of this?' i mean its like stop-asking-the-questions-that-you-yourself-wanna-know, ask something that satisfy everyone who is watching! so what if we know PAP is indeed arrogant / not arrogant? does that makes me a millionaire Teo / JJ scholar Teo / MM Teo??

I can taste the water that MM LKY drinks during the show is sweet 'cause he need to ans alot of dumb questions -.-

I can feel that MM LKY is indeed someone who knows how to hold himself well sia. he doesnt get agitated when people starts asking him dumb-until-he-wanna-laugh de questions, and answer the questions calmly. ditto for senarios when he gets interrupted by the dumbos

Speaking of questions on the higher grounds that PAP have over the opposition, I really feel that its not true, in a way! nobody stops them from propagating their party's ideals. PAP didnt forbid them from selling their party's kuku newspaper which my brother bought at one for $1 (he bought 2, made me laughed like some siao kia due to the headlines). No one forbid the opposition to hold assemblies to propagate their ideals, as long as its peaceably and without arms or disturbance to public order, under the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, Part IV(Fundamental Liberties), Clause 14b. I feel that they do have alot of ways to grow their influence.

Stop being stuck at Potong Pasir and Hougang. Get the single seat constituencies -.-

However, i think no one can blame PAP for having higher grounds. Thats too bad for the opposition. If the opposition is the ruling party, wouldnt they too want to keep themselves to a ground of advantage over the other parties? who would let the other parties to win them easily? moreover, being the ruling party, PAP naturally have the resources to fuel their campaigns, such as their demographs will start appearing. how well HDB did to house people, how well people benefit from the 3 Ms, how much Singapore / Singaporeans have changed over the past 40 years (the sleepy fishing village to bustling clean cement jungle analogy). these are all human mindset isnt it?

I dun understand why people now have a fetish for 'political vibrancy' in Singapore. Its so clear how too much damage vibrancy can cause to a country's public peace and order! thailand's dimishing Thai Rak Thai thrown off tracks with all the 'democratic' protest by the opposition parties, Phillipines's political instability that almost rocked Arroyo off her presidential seat by the opposition, France's street protests by students and unions and opposition that caused a situation almost tantamount to economy failure. u all wanna see these in singapore?

Another thing, just look at the Singapore's opposition parties' logos -.-

I seriously dunno why people still want to support the opposition after looking at these. humans need to learn to be contented with what they have. anyone dares to say PAP has done more harm than good? explain it if u feel that way. they have been doing fine and way to go PAP! moreover, PAP does really have people that look more talented at the very very very least.
