what izzit all abt?

suddenly flooding of tots after reading Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan 2004 de perf booklet(Dynamism) and was reading some info abt the instructors and choreographers on PA de webbie...

i had always secretly felt tt the job as as a dance instructor is a very interesting one coz of the interactions between me and the students... the life experience i will get... putting things like money and fame stuff aside, i think its a job with high level of fulfillment whenever u see ur hardwork / essence being performed to its very best on stage... better still a rousing standing ovation from the audience... moreover, its something that is so deeply embedded in my mind tt i think of it everyday... its the passion for it lo... but i also believe tt instructors / choreographers shld always be acknowledged for the hard work put in, no matter the quality of the dance(hard to define quality eh?).. its the basic courtesy...

however... i got to realise recently tt such acknowledgements are now usually parasited with things like fame... maybe like who got the higher fame and who gets better acknowledgements... its now cover away ppl who hav the real materials(liao4), maybe due to those ppl not wanting to fight for such worldly stuff... i agree with baoshun laoshi's thinking... he feels tt dance is a very simple thing... one shld be happy dancing and not be disturbed by other stuff... this goes the same for lao shi... fame and wealth is not important... its the process...

compare this with this... i jus cant help but to feel a little sad for the latter... maybe the first has been more 'internationalized' while the latter is more 'localized', i dunno... but does no awards and things means the person is lousy?? i also didnt hear laoshi getting alot of awards but does tt mean he is no good? everyone knows he is darn versatile lah... maybe the ppl in the dance circles knows it the best lo... but i jus find it an eyesore... hmmm... anyway.. if u all hav time, pls go dl and watch this video on the PA Cultural Talents... quite nice lo... not a big file...

ok... so abt my secret dream... guess its harder to achieve since i am now going JC... its always hard to find ppl who can spend time to coach and hard to ppl who giv a chance for one to excel in these kind of things de lo... most prob now is hav to lian my stuff good good first lo... but the world is so big out there... how to finish and wat to finish? do one really hav no choice but to specialise??? oma...
